1. OUR COMMITMENT TO YOUR PRIVACY
We take the responsible management of your personal information and the security of our IT systems seriously. Our privacy governance policy is designed to match the scope and complexity of our business activities. This policy guarantees the confidentiality and security of your data in a protected environment, with access strictly limited to a clearly identified group of people.

We protect your personal information throughout its life cycle. It is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was originally collected. Once its use is complete, we undertake to destroy or anonymize it in a secure and responsible manner, in accordance with strict guidelines.

4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF EMPLOYEES AND THIRD-PARTY SUPPLIERS
Within our organization, roles and responsibilities for the management of personal information are clearly defined for our employees and subcontracted personnel, who undergo regular training and are held accountable for compliance with our data protection standards. With regard to service providers, we only work with entities that commit to industry-standard security measures and comply with applicable laws. These contractual agreements are carefully reviewed to ensure compliance with the laws and principles set out in this Policy.
5. LINKS TO EXTERNAL SITES
Our site may contain links to other web sites over which we have no control. We are not responsible for their content, data collection, use or disclosure practices, or for any links they may contain. No warranty can be given in this respect.
6. CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT AND SAFETY
To maintain a high level of protection, we conduct periodic internal assessments of our processes. These assessments cover the collection, storage, processing and deletion of personal information. PRIVACY POLICY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Talentech Inc. and all of its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the "Company", "we", "us" or "our") respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it in accordance with this policy (the "Policy").
This Policy explains :
- How we collect, use, maintain and disclose the personal information of our customers, suppliers, contractors, employees, applicants for employment and users of our website (referred to as "you").
- The types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our websites, including www.talentech.ca and through the various interactions you may have with members of our team, whether via recruitment platforms such as Linkedin, e-mail, telephone or videoconference communications.
- Our privacy practices and policies, including :
- retention and destruction of such data;
- the roles and responsibilities of our employees throughout the information life cycle;
- our complaint management process;
We are committed to using your personal information in accordance with this Policy, except as otherwise provided by applicable law.
2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Your personal information is collected in a number of ways; by browsing our Site, by subscribing to our services, by subscribing to your newsletter, by communicating with the company in any way, by posting content on our social networks and in other ways.
3. NATURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
We collect personal information from candidates who apply on our website in order to facilitate the recruitment and selection process for our clients. The personal information collected is as follows:
- First and last name
- Postal address
- E-mail address
- Phone number
- Professional experience
- Academic training
- Professional skills
- References
- Any information provided by the candidate that is relevant to the recruitment process
The company undertakes to collect and keep in its files only the information required to provide its services.
4. NATURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information is collected for the purpose of :
- Assess the suitability of candidates for our customers' job offers
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment and immigration process
- Communicate relevant job opportunities to candidates
- Gather information on candidates' skills, experience and preferences to improve the efficiency of matching candidates to job offers.
- Collect essential data to advise applicants on immigration-related administrative procedures (age, nationality, passport, immigration status, CNP code or any other relevant information).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for international recruitment and immigration consulting services
5. TECHNOLOGICAL MEANS OF COLLECTION
We use a variety of methods to collect your personal information:
- direct exchanges , when you provide us with this information by filling in forms, contacting us by telephone or e-mail, subscribing to our newsletters or sending us your CV on recruitment platforms such as Linkedin.
- automated systems or interactions, when you browse our website. This includes information collected automatically, such as usage details, IP addresses, and data obtained via cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies.
- publicly available sources. These include platforms such as Linkedin and Indeed.
6. CONNECTION INDICATORS
The company uses different types of cookies by third parties on its Site. Cookies are small text files that are used by websites. They are written to your hard drive or browser when you visit a website and generate a random code that serves as your unique identifier. The cookie stores certain data and allows us to recognize you to make the user experience more efficient.
The information collected includes your IP address, date, time, pages visited and duration of visits, language, browser preferences, browser version and other information, in order to optimize your experience on the Sites. Cookies are used to personalize content and advertisements, provide social media features and analyze web traffic.
7. USE OF DATA
We use the personal information we collect for a number of purposes, including:
- As part of the recruitment process, to evaluate applications with a view to possible recruitment;
- To represent you in your job search in Canada, notably by presenting your CV to various companies.
- To provide our legal and other services, manage our operations, and administer our services, including fulfilling obligations arising from any agreements between you and us;
- Evaluate the possibility of using your services and maintain contact with you if necessary;
- Respond to requests for information or questions from visitors to our Web site;
- For marketing and business development purposes, to share information about our new services, legal updates, or newsletters, if you have opted to receive them. You may opt-out of these communications at any time;
- To satisfy our legal, regulatory obligations, or to ensure our compliance with applicable legal requirements.
8. Sensuration of shared C.V.'s
We systematically reformat every résumé shared with us to ensure the protection of sensitive personal information. This includes deleting and sanitizing data such as date of birth, contact information (phone number and e-mail address), home address, as well as any other sensitive personal information. Internally, we refer to reformatted CVs as "Competence Files". Only the candidate's first and last name are preserved on the Competency File, to maintain a certain degree of authenticity. This approach is designed to guarantee the confidentiality of candidate data, while complying with privacy protection standards. At the request of his or her Talentech representative, a candidate may request complete anonymization of his or her Competence File.
9. COMMUNICATION AND USE OF DATA
We may disclose personal information that we collect or that you provide to us, as described in this Policy:
- To customer companies or non-customer target companies.
- To third parties in connection with legal proceedings, as well as to service providers or other partners we use to support the performance of our services. These third parties are contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality of personal information, to use it only for the purposes for which they receive it, and to respect the same standards of protection set out in this Policy.
- To fulfill the purpose for which you provided your personal information.
- For any other purpose communicated to you at the time of collection and with your consent.
- To comply with a court order, statute, or legal process, including responding to a request from government authorities or regulatory agencies, in accordance with applicable law.
The Company does not sell or trade your personal information for commercial purposes.
10. COMMUNICATION OUTSIDE QUEBEC OR CANADA
When we transmit personal information outside Quebec, and sometimes outside Canada, it is only for the purpose of offering our services or supporting our activities in an efficient and commercially reasonable manner.
Before transferring personal information outside Quebec, we conduct a privacy impact assessment in accordance with applicable Quebec legislation. This assessment takes into account a number of factors, including: (a) the purpose for which the information is to be used; (b) the sensitivity of the information; and (c) the safeguards, including contractual safeguards, that would apply. Personal information is transferred only if this assessment demonstrates that it will benefit from adequate protection.
If you would like more information about the service providers to whom we transmit personal information outside Quebec, please contact our Privacy Officer (contact information below). We confirm that, strictly in accordance with this Policy, we may disclose your personal information to third parties located outside Quebec or Canada to assist us in providing services involving the use, disclosure or retention of such data on our behalf. You consent to such transfers, uses and retention in connection with our services.
11. RESTRICTIONS AND COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL LEGISLATION
The Company is based in and operates under the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Privacy laws may vary depending on where you live. If you reside or are established outside Quebec, it is your responsibility to ensure that the transmission of your personal information to the Company complies with local or national laws applicable to you. By sending us your personal information, you acknowledge and agree that it will be governed by the laws of the province of Quebec, and that the Company cannot be held responsible for any failure to comply with the privacy laws in effect in your jurisdiction.
12.CONSENT
We use, retain and disclose personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected, unless we have obtained the consent of the individual concerned for other uses. If personal information about a third party is provided to us, the person providing the information must warrant that he or she has obtained the requisite consent from that third party, or is otherwise authorized to permit us to collect, use, retain and disclose that information in accordance with this Policy. When you share your resume or any other information related to an immigration application, you consent to the use of that information in accordance with this Policy.
13.RIGHT TO WITHDRAW CONSENT
Candidates have the right to withdraw their consent to the disclosure or use of their personal information at any time. In this case, their application and any personal information concerning the candidate will be deleted from our systems. To exercise this right, please contact our Privacy Officer.
14. RETENTION AND DESTRUCTION OF INFORMATION
Unless otherwise required by law or regulation, we retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes for which it was collected, including to meet legal, accounting or disclosure obligations. In some cases, we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be linked to you. We then reserve the right to use such anonymized data for legitimate purposes, without obligation to inform you or seek your consent.

TERMS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE
1. VOCATION OF THE SITE
The website www.talentech.ca "Site" is operated by Talentech Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). "You" refers to any user of the Site. By accessing the Company's Site, you are deemed to accept these Terms of Use in their entirety.
