Mechanical engineering technician
Under the supervision of the Technical Services Manager, the candidate will participate in the development of new products, from the embryonic phase to final production. The candidate will have to use available internal and external resources to meet customer requirements and deadlines. His or her knowledge and skills in mechanical design will enable him or her to transform ideas into tangible products adapted to our process. The candidate will be able to make a creative contribution at all levels of the company.

Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design new plastic products and auxiliaries to support production (e.g. cutting and drilling jigs, robot assembly jigs);
- Estimate project costs;
- Manage and develop strategic suppliers;
- Supervise the production of the first prototypes, assemble and adjust cutting and drilling jigs until the first good part is obtained;
- Ensure production start-up, compliance and methods for new product lines.
Qualifications
Special requirements:
Essential :
- Advanced knowledge of Solidworks programs and the Office suite;
- Good aptitude for manual work (welding, mechanics, assembly, etc.);
- Good sense of initiative, interpersonal skills, autonomous, innovative and rigorous;
- Spoken and written English (3/5).
Important :
- Knowledge of robotics;
- Mastery of the main processes available - laser cutting, bending, CNC machining, painting, 3D printing, etc.
Training
- Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience;
