Automation technician
Under the responsibility of the automation manager, as an automation technician, you will be part of a young and dynamic team of about thirty employees. You will participate in the design of automated systems from technical specifications, drawings and technical diagrams in compliance with industrial standards. You will also be responsible for the start-up and commissioning of automated sawing equipment directly at the customer's site.

Responsibilities
- Design and program automated systems (simple or complex) on different types of PLCs and HMIs;
- Install and troubleshoot automated systems;
- Participate in the start-up of the systems at the customer's site;
- Perform occasional electrical engineering studies;
- Produce technical documents related to the maintenance of an automated system;
- Ensure that the systems sold are functional in the production context and that they meet our customers' expectations.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) products;
- Leadership and interpersonal skills;
- Good problem solving skills and enjoys a challenge;
- Knowledge of basic computer systems;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Be available to travel for a short period of time, mostly 2 weeks, and if necessary, be able to obtain a valid passport.
Training
- DEC in Electrical Engineering, specialization in automation or equivalent.
