• Evaluate and analyze insurance applications to determine risk level and eligibility.
• Determine conditions of coverage, calculate premiums and establish terms of insurance policies.
• Work closely with agents and brokers to provide expert advice and support the sales process.
• Continuously monitor the portfolio of policies underwritten to identify potential risks and adjust coverage accordingly.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes, market trends and developments in specific insurance fields to adjust underwriting practices and maintain competitiveness.

• Previous underwriting experience in one of the above-mentioned insurance fields.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to make informed decisions based on data and risk analysis.
• Mastery of IT tools and software specific to the insurance industry.
