The Welder is responsible for performing various welding, assembly, and repair tasks on metal parts and structures, in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, and the employer’s requirements.

The candidate may be asked to work on various types of projects, particularly in the metal fabrication, construction, machinery, manufacturing, and maintenance sectors.

Key Responsibilities

‍

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols;
• Prepare the parts and surfaces before welding;
• Perform various welding tasks using the required processes;
• Assemble and repair metal parts;
• Perform welding work on various types of metals;
• Use welding equipment and tools safely;
• Perform grinding, cutting, cleaning, and preparation of parts;
• Check the quality of the welds and the compliance of the assemblies;
• Make the necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with the dimensions and specifications;
• Perform visual inspections of welds;
• Maintain work equipment and tools;
• Comply with manufacturing procedures and quality standards;
• Strictly comply with occupational health and safety standards.

Welding Processes

‍

Depending on our clients' needs, we may seek candidates with experience in one or more of the following processes:

‍

• MIG / GMAW;
• TIG / GTAW;
• MMA / coated electrode;
• FCAW / flux-cored wire;
• Welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

• Relevant experience as a welder;
• Proficiency in one or more welding processes;
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints;
• Good knowledge of welding equipment and tools;
• Commitment to quality and precision;
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
• Good manual dexterity;
• A sense of responsibility and adherence to safety standards;
• Ability to work in various manufacturing or construction site environments;
