Under the responsibility of the automation manager, the automation technician supports and participates in the development of all tasks related to the optimization of equipment in the industrial automation sector.

• Program PLCs and HMIs from Schneider, A-B, G.E. Siemens, Omron and others;
• Develop and program G.E.'s SCADA systems iFix, Aveva (Wonderware)/system platform, A-B Factory TalkView SE and others iFix, Aveva (Wonderware)/system platform, A-B Factory TalkView SE and others ;
• Configure, program and commission variable frequency drives;
• Configure, program and calibrate various sensors and measuring instruments;
• Develop and perform pre-operational checks (OPV) of control systems;
• Participate in the analysis of customer needs/requests in order to develop a programming plan;
• Management of small projects (design, installation, start-up, management of a work team);
• Participate in the costing of various customer jobs;
• Participate in the installation of control systems/instrumentation/VFDs;
• Troubleshoot control systems (relay logic, PLC and other control systems);
• Temporary help for panel assembly;
• Other related duties.

• Knowledge of PLC/HMI from Schneider, Allen-Bradley (asset) ;
• Knowledge of Ethernet/IP networks (asset) ;
• Rigor, autonomy and sense of responsibility;
• Ability to work in a team.
