CNC Machinist
Our customer is looking for an experienced CNC machinist to join their production team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer numerical control (CNC) machines, including their operation, programming and maintenance. This person will be responsible for manufacturing precision parts and components to technical specifications and production deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Program, set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture or modify parts and tools in metal, plastic or other materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Select, align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, accessories and materials on machines.
- Carry out initial function tests and routine inspections to ensure that machines are working properly.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet precise specifications, and adjust machine parameters as required.
- Maintain CNC equipment, carry out minor repairs and report problems requiring further attention.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve production processes and product quality.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety standards and experience with safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
Training
- Ideally a graduate in machining technology or equivalent;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in CNC machining.
