Quality inspector
The incumbent prepares control documents, ensures the quality of projects sent to subcontractors and carries out quality controls in production as well as final controls at our subcontractors. The incumbent will therefore be required to travel to our subcontractors' sites internationally for service and support purposes.

Responsibilities
Carries out systematic or random quality controls according to existing control plans and/or Frontmatec standards and/or manufacturing procedures for :
- raw materials
- parts, equipment purchased and subcontracted
- machined parts, purchased and subcontracted
Provides general quality support to employees and contractors
Be able to explain and popularize our plans to subcontractors.
Verify the manufacturing and the quality of the products at our subcontractors.
Carry out quality control of equipment from our subcontractors before it is delivered.
Ensure that quality control results are recorded.
To solve with the production and the subcontractors, the problems of quality raised.
With the collaboration of purchasing and/or the departments concerned, identify solutions related to subcontracting problems.
Validate the quality control done by the employees and ensure that the procedures are respected.
Inform our subcontractors of our manufacturing methods (templates, specialized tools, etc.) and help them develop their own methods.
Qualifications
- Reading plans ;
- Good communication skills;
- Ability to work in a team ;
- Good knowledge of the manufacturing environment (welding, machining, assembly processes...);
- Know how to use the office suite (Word and Excel);
- Have self-control;
- Mastering problem solving;
- Have worked on installations and/or assembly integration of equipment;
- To know and master our welding processes;
- Know the Frontmatec manufacturing standards;
- Know the standards of surface treatment;
- Good knowledge of the sanitary and safety standards related to our equipment;
- Good knowledge of Frontmatec equipment;
- Act as a Frontmatec ambassador.
Training
- DEP or DEC in a field related to the industry;
- 3 years experience in a similar position.
