Electrical Engineer
The electrical engineer is responsible for performing the electrical design work required for industrial automation projects. Based on the specifications provided by the project manager, he or she must produce the electrical drawings and supporting documentation necessary for the manufacture and installation of control panels. He or she must ensure compliance with the various standards and regulations governing electrical design.

Responsibilities
- Confirm the control components selected with the project manager (PLC model, industrial network, etc.).
- Calculate short-circuit currents and perform arc-flash analysis.
- Verify the project's electrical specifications (country, supply voltage, frequency, etc.).
- Calculate and document electrical loads, heat dissipation, etc.
- Determine the necessary electrical protection systems.
- Ensure that the design complies with the various applicable standards and regulations.
- Create electrical drawings (power distribution, control, layout, etc.) using See Electrical or other CAD software.
- Sign and stamp the plans.
- Communicate with other team members, both internal and external.
- Provide support to the on-site implementation team at the client's location when necessary.
- Take measurements on-site as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in their field ofexpertise
- Member of the Order of Engineers (Ing.)
- French and functional English
- Knowledge of the standards and regulations governing electrical design
- Basic knowledge of at least one electrical design CAD program
- Be a good team member and a master at working as part of a team
- Must be meticulous and thorough
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines.
Training
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automated production engineering, or another related field
