Engineer - Energy Efficiency

• Actively participate in the sales process and the growth of the department;
• Apply for subsidies from organizations (Gaz Métro, Hydro Quebec and government agencies); Conduct studies and assessments of energy efficiency projects in the commercial, institutional and industrial sectors;
• Make technical surveys on plans and in buildings;
• To make technical sketches of pre-design in heating and air conditioning;
• Carry out energy simulations with internal software;
• Perform energy saving calculations and evaluate the necessary investments;
• Write and present technical reports;
• Develop energy calculation or simulation tools;
• Carry out commissioning projects;
• Designing control sequences;
• Carry out the energy monitoring of buildings according to the IPMVP protocol;
• Estimate costs and analyze the financial profitability of projects;
• Participate in the realization of plans and specifications and projects as built ;
• Making project estimates;
• Accompany clients for LEED or BOMA certification.

• Strong knowledge of Excel and Word;
• Advanced knowledge of Autocad, Powerpoint, MProject, and energy simulation software;
• Available to travel in the Montreal area and occasionally outside of Montreal;
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
• Experience in HVAC-HVAC an asset;
• Planning and organizational skills;
