Industrial computer scientist

The successful candidate will work on data processing systems, applications including the choice of hardware (PC, electronic devices, measuring instruments, camera, etc.), the choice of software as well as the programming of complementary software. These systems are linked to the controller of the automatic functions of the machines.

• Design and develop the architecture of industrial computer systems and applications;
• Program and commission the systems on the machines;
• Manage the design schedule;
• Reporting on the progress of the work;
• Coordinate your projects with automation designers, other involved departments, and subcontractors as appropriate;
• Provide technical support to machine users;
• Produce or supervise the technical and commercial documentation of the systems you design;
• Manage the priorities of the different projects according to their progress.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in application software design and industry solutions ;
• Master the following programming languages: C#, dotNET, C++; SQL, Web ;
• Good knowledge of networking and instrumentation (asset);
• Basic knowledge of mechanics, electricity and robotics (asset).
