In collaboration with the sales and engineering departments, the estimator actively participates in the preparation of bids and the development of various tools to facilitate the task.

Responsibilities
- Receives and researches requests for quotes and writes them up, ensuring that they are validated by the quote coordinator before being sent to the client.
- Participate in the analysis of sales representatives' requests for quotes to ensure that all necessary information is included in the development of the sales specifications.
- Gather the necessary information from various internal stakeholders (Technical Director, Buyer, Drawing Room Manager, Plant Manager, Product Specialist) as needed to determine the manufacturing cost, selling price and, in some cases, the lead time for the requested equipment.
Qualifications
- Ability to use the required computer tools (Excel, Microsoft Outlook, ERP system);
- Ability to search for information on AutoCad and SolidWorks (an asset);
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, rigor, methodical, stress resistant;
- Ability to adapt to change.
Training
- DEC or DEP in the mechanical, industrial or administrative field or any other equivalent experience.
