Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electromechanic collaborates in all prevention, improvement and repair activities of the plant in order to optimize operations.


  • Salary: $36/hr + shift premium

  • Perform mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment;
  • Participate in preventive maintenance tasks of equipment (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, etc.);
  • Document maintenance activities, communicate them with employees (electromechanics, operators, engineers, supervisors, etc.), and use the inventory and maintenance system;
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of work areas;
  • Support daily production by ensuring continuous operation of the equipment (troubleshooting, repairing breakdowns, training operators);
  • Participate in various improvement projects.


  • Very good command of oral and written French;
  • Knowledge of the CMMS system (Intéral) ;
  • Good computer skills;
  • Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automation knowledge;
  • Leadership skills and good communicator;
  • Good time management, prioritization and organization;
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Good team spirit & professionalism.


  • Degree in industrial mechanics or electromechanics;
  • 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position.
