Electromechanic

Responsibilities
- Set-up equipment to meet speed, production and quality objectives;
- Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and carry out related troubleshooting ;
- Make adjustments during production to correct problems ;
- Carry out equipment repairs and preventive maintenance as scheduled;
- Requisition spare parts;
- Participate in various production equipment projects;
- Work and be actively involved in continuous improvement with the aim of improving the efficiency of equipment and set-ups;
- Actively participate in the health and safety program and respect the rules and policies in force. Submit ideas for modifications to avoid accidents;
- Comply with current quality standards and procedures (SOPs), such as GMP, HACCP, ISO, etc. ;
- Ensure that the necessary information is passed on to the mechanics/electromechanics on the next shift to avoid wasting time and making mistakes;
- Document maintenance work according to established procedures;
- Participate in the training of mechanics/electromechanics and operators;
- Perform any other tasks as required by the company.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in electromechanics (minimum 5 years)
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Versatile, flexible, autonomous, good mechanical and electrical problem-solving skills, analytical and logical critical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, rigor and good communication skills;
- Previous experience of pharmaceutical, cosmetics or food production equipment would be an asset.
Training
- D.E.P. or D.E.C. in electromechanics or industrial mechanics ;
- Relevant experience in electromechanics (minimum 5 years)
- Read electrical and mechanical drawings.
