Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment according to work orders
- Finding solutions to technical problems
- Participate in production shutdowns and scheduled machine maintenance
- Actively participate in the implementation and optimization of machine safety.
- Responding to emergencies
- Inspect mechanical, control and pneumatic components
- Clean, inspect and lubricate equipment
- Participate in installation and improvement projects
- Follow up daily on work performed with immediate supervisor
- Provide technical assistance to the team
- Ensure that all required materials are on hand to manufacture planned projects
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as an electromechanic
- Ability to work in a team
- Great ability to work under pressure
- Rigorous, autonomous and highly adaptable
- Curiosity, initiative and resourcefulness
- Demonstrate a high level of expertise in industrial mechanics and electricity
- Ability to exercise judgment and discernment
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Adopt safe behaviour at all times and be extra vigilant in the performance of work tasks
