Under the supervision of the Computer Vision and Software Development Team Leader, the incumbent will participate in the design and development of industrial software. The candidate will arrive at a key point in the development phase of the organization, opening the door to various opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and architecture of ;
  • Design and develop software applications mainly in C# ;
  • Create computer vision solutions and process 2D or 3D images with machine vision libraries;
  • Participate in the commissioning of industrial systems (robot, conveyors, etc.) and provide support to customers;
  • Select and configure vision and industrial network components;
  • Coordinate work to meet project deadlines, costs and system performance criteria.

Qualifications

  • Mastery of the C# language (C++ also relevant) ;
  • Experience in WPF GUI ;
  • Good knowledge of databases;
  • Matrox Imaging Library (Halcon and Open CV also relevant);
  • Knowledge of vision equipment selection (cameras and lights);
  • Industrial networking (Ethernet IP) ;
  • Good ability to communicate effectively with team members in a complex project environment;
  • Be available to perform installation and start-up work outside the metropolitan area and occasionally outside the province and country;
  • Have a valid driver's license.

Training

  • Degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or other relevant training.
