Mechanical draughtsman

Reporting to the drawing room manager, the draftsman's main tasks are to design and draw sawing equipment using computer-assisted drawing software.

• Based on experience, produces general assembly drawings, sub-assembly drawings, fabrication drawings and detail drawings using computer aided drafting software ;
• Ensure that his concepts and designs are feasible according to the requirements and manufacturing processes available in the company;
• Determine, in its drawing, the dimensional tolerances necessary for manufacturing;
• Performs dimensional verification of drawings and ensures accuracy and consistency of the drawing with the original requirements;
• Make corrections to drawings;
• Perform detail work under supervision;
• Performs revision control of drawings in circulation and ensures that copies used are current.

• Three years experience;
• Ability to use the relevant functions of Solid Works and AutoCAd software;
• Knowledge of the various products and components used in the manufacture of the equipment designed (bearings, belts, speed reducers, etc.).
