Designer - programmer in automation

The programmer-designer is responsible for programming PLCs, operator interfaces, robots and SCADA systems according to the instructions of the customer and the project manager. Depending on his/her experience, he/she participates in the design of the control system, functional analyses, project documentation and training plans at the customer's site.

• Selection of the appropriate control equipment for the project needs;
• Preparation of a control architecture, main parts lists ;

• Preparation of equipment cost estimates, in collaboration with the project manager;
• Programming of PLCs, operator interfaces, robots and SCADA;
• Communication with other team members, internal and external;
• Testing of programs before start-up at the customer's site;
• Supervision and support of the installation of the control system at the customer's site;
• Starting programs on the customer's site;
• Training of the customer's operators or technicians; Production support after start-up.

• Knowledge of industrial control systems;
