Mechanical designer
Reporting to the Innovation Project Manager, the Mechanical Designer will be a resource person for both internal (sales, operations, mechanics, etc.) and external (customers) customers. He/she will also be a reference for the resolution of mechanical problems.

Responsibilities
- Participate in idea generation (brainstorming) for the mechanical design of new products
- Perform concept analysis
- Design new parts and prototypes
- Draw new parts
- Correct design problems in existing drawings
- Modify existing parts
- Develop manufacturing methods with the production team
- Develop new project concepts in conjunction with project managers
- Research new products.
- Analysis of requirements, performance and cost criteria
Qualifications
- Good understanding of design techniques
- Advanced knowledge of Solidworks design software
- Knowledge of metal fabrication methods
- Good knowledge of written and spoken French and English
Training
- Training in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineer or equivalent
