Electrical Project Manager

Under the responsibility of the Electrical Design Supervisor and in collaboration with several company stakeholders, the Electrical Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling all activities related to the electrical implementation of the projects for which he/she is responsible, within the given deadlines. He/she provides this management while designing the control and power panels, determining the network structure and validating the electrical safety of the projects under his/her responsibility.

Based in the Plessisville office, the candidate will be integrated into a team of experienced designers already in place.
The candidate will have a natural inclination for team challenges and will have to be rigorous and meticulous, while knowing how to manage the priorities of his schedule.

• Ensure the daily monitoring of the complete projects and the evolution of the project team (design and programming);
• Ensure communication between the different departments of Machinex, mainly with the mechanical project managers and the project managers ;
• Carry out and validate the electrical design of its projects (control, power, network and safety);
• Check project planning to ensure that all necessary resources are available for each current and future project;
• Be available to travel 1 to 2 times / year (Canada, USA and overseas).
