Responsibilities
- Driving Class 1 vehicles for the transport of goods at
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure that all safety procedures are followed during loading, unloading and transport.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with dispatchers and customers
- Complete the required transport documents and keep the driving logs up to date
- Comply with all traffic regulations and transport laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driver's license
- Experience in driving heavy vehicles (an asset)
- Good driving record
- Ability to work long hours and adapt to flexible schedules
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety rules and transport regulations
