Robotics Project Manager

Our client is a company specializing in the design, manufacture and assembly of CNC machine tools. With many years of expertise, from design to integration, the company has a worldwide presence and provides value-added solutions to established customers in the aerospace, rail, military, energy and other industries.

Reporting to the Robotics Project Manager, the Robotics Project Manager will work with various collaborators, including the mechanical and electrical departments, as well as colleagues on the robotics team. Within this team, he/she will be responsible for the robotics aspect of the projects.

• Participate in the development of robotic processes in collaboration with the R&D department, suppliers, research centers and universities and other collaborators;
• Conduct a technology watch;
• Develop preliminary concepts;
• Model, simulate and validate concepts;
• Prepare technical data for bids;
• Develop, validate and approve concepts;
• Coordinate and track tasks;
• Configure and program the robots;
• Participate in start-up and provide training at the customer's site.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a robotic environment;
• Good knowledge of FANUC robots (an asset);
• Be available for travel in Quebec, the US and the rest of the world.
