Project Manager

Our client is a company specializing in the design, manufacture and assembly of CNC machine tools. With many years of expertise, from design to integration, the company has a worldwide presence and provides value-added solutions to established customers in the aerospace, rail, military, energy and other industries.

Reporting to the President, the Project Manager will manage large multi-disciplinary projects of high technical complexity. The incumbent will organize, direct, control and evaluate all activities related to the realization of his/her projects. He/she will be responsible for the relationship with clients with activities in the aeronautical field and in the industry in general. Projects will generally be in the order of several million dollars and will have a total duration of 12 to 24 months.

• Manage the relationship with the client, from the sale to the final acceptance of the project by the client;
• Negotiate with the customer for post-sale additions and/or modifications;
• Generate and track exchanges during projects;
• Plan and conduct follow-up meetings during projects;
• Identify and coordinate prompt actions and corrective measures regarding delays and problems;
• Actively promote communication and teamwork between departments and clients;
• Coordinate all activities required for the development, production, preliminary acceptance, installation, start-up and final acceptance of each project;
• Coordinate and lead project kick-off and post-mortem meetings;
• Control the budgets of each project.

• Minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position;
• Have excellent judgment and a sense of responsibility;
• Available, dynamic, creative and initiative to take on new challenges;
• Good organizational skills;
