Project Manager

Our client is a manufacturer and integrator of new and refurbished packaging equipment. The company carries out turnkey packaging line projects by integrating new machines with their used inventory. Its strength lies in a team of highly qualified and diversified experts.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the successful candidate will coordinate all aspects related to the execution of custom projects for the industry. Managing schedules, technical deliverables and budget is a priority. The individual will communicate with clients to follow up on tasks required internally to achieve project sales objectives.

• Ensure project implementation, including planning, organizing and coordinating activities;
• Participate in production meetings to report on the progress of your projects;
• Coordinate internal resources for project execution;
• Ensure the control of the cost and schedule evolution for each project under your responsibility;
• Produce financial reports for projects and prepare analyses;
• Act as the primary contact for all stakeholders of the projects under your responsibility;
• Ensure the project team's commitment to the established schedule and communicate key milestones to the team;
• Work closely with the operations department, consultants, subcontractors and other personnel to ensure that project deliverables are completed efficiently;
• Identify, communicate and manage issues, risks and change requests in a constructive and professional manner.

• Knowledge in the field of packaging machinery (an asset);
• Experience in the manufacturing environment.
