As an integral part of the permanent projects unit, the Project Manager will be the face of the company for external and internal customers. He/she will oversee projects from sale to delivery. He/she will collaborate with the sales, engineering, procurement, planning, production, accounting and transportation teams.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quality communications and customer/partner satisfaction;
  • Responsible for establishing, monitoring and respecting project schedules and budgets;
  • Responsible for monitoring project approval and compliance according to customer and contract requirements;
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting new projects to the team as quickly as possible (Kick-off meeting);
  • Responsible for presenting project results to the company (KPI);
  • Responsible for participating and coordinating all contract items including products, plans and specifications, manuals, training, documentation, etc;
  • Responsible for coordinating and monitoring the internal and external technical experts needed to complete projects and meet objectives
  • Responsible for managing and negotiating contract changes with supervisor;
  • Responsible for helping the facilities manager plan the implementation of worksites;
  • Responsible for documenting and maintaining project files;
  • Responsible for preparing and presenting project post-mortems to the team and participating in the continuous improvement process;
  • Responsible for invoicing and collecting the various projects under its management
  • Responsible for producing project completion documents (warranties, plans and reports)
  • Responsible for making site visits before design begins.

  • Excellent ability to summarize, listen and explain;
  • Proactive ;
  • Great organizational skills and good judgment in assessing the level of urgency;
  • Mastery of the Office suite and IT tools ;
  • Bilingualism required in French and English (written and spoken);

Training

  • Minimum training: engineering technician or other technical background
