Automatician
Our client is a company specialized in the design, manufacturing and assembly of CNC machine tools. With many years of expertise, from design to integration, the company has a worldwide presence and offers high value-added solutions to a well-established customer base working in the aeronautics, railway, armament, energy and various industrial specialties.
Reporting to the Electrical Design Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for programming, testing and commissioning of automatic systems that equip the machines. The automatic systems include sequential or servo mechanisms, using electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic energy.

Responsibilities
- Program and commission the machines;
- Commissioning of machines at the customer's site (international travel);
- Manage the commissioning schedule;Provide progress reports;
- Manage project priorities to meet deadlines;
- Coordinate your work with other stakeholders (mechanics, computer specialists, cable workers, etc.);
- Produce documentation for the systems you commission;
- Manage the priorities of the different projects according to their progress.
Work 40% office, 30% factory and 30% on site. Customers: 80% U.S. and 20% worldwide.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in automation;
- Availability for travel in Quebec, the U.S. and the rest of the world;
- Enjoy working as a team in a dynamic environment;
- Good knowledge of programming languages (especially Ladder) and good knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain programming.
Training
- Diploma in automated production engineering or industrial electronics or any other equivalent training.
